i never knew this yummy snack that i had been eating since young was made in Japan!!!
anw with regards to my previous post... i felt much better now as i had spoken to Chef N today after practical and showed him my marzipan rose as well as my 1st attempt of Opera at home, and he said...'it's not bad ah..'with his usual cute french accent..keke..as i told him i cant figure out how to assemble the outer rose petals and he said they are fine just that the marzipan is too dry and thick. i have to refine them more. also the layering of my Opera is good with the sponge just needed to fold once or twice more. haha i felt so relieve thereafter and hence i didnt practice today =x not that i am too confident but i have decided that i should give myself a break just for today. hopefully i am able to replicate what i had practised during these period of time and that i will not overfold my sponge again!!! it will be a nightmare if i did. At this stage of the course, the chances of not passing (didnt wanna say the F word...haha okok this is lame) is very high. really it is..
ending off with the plating of the hot dessert Chocolate Fondant that i had made today...

I'm sure you'll do well for exams! x) Of course, I'm only doing basic and I'm stressing already so I can imagine how much more anxious you're probably feeling. Don't worry though, will pray that all goes well for you! In a couple of weeks time, it'll all be over and you'll be moving on to Superior!!! Good luck babe! Sending you lots of positive energy x)
